Не могу войти на сервер, требует файлы CAWheeled2_Kamaz, cabuildings2_misc_cargo. Все дополнения подключены,на других серверах похожая ситуация.

У тебя вообще arma2 какая? CO или OA. Может из за этого.

Купите ARMA2 ещё в Стим ARMA2 простая и установите. Тогда получите не AO версию, а CO.
Hey all,
Welcome to my release thread — gonna work on some relatively small addons, largely to do with random themes, and largely starting off with simple re-skins — hopefully some day soon I’ll be progressing into more ambitious things — modelling, islands, whatnot… but we’ll see.
Anyway, first up:
What is it?
A collection of reskins based on the stock BIS KamAZ models, intended for civilian use. As a bonus, a pack of KamAZ trucks for the CDF is included, along with a few skins for civilian UAZs.
How do I use it?
The pack is split into four pbos — one for the main pack of civilian models, one for the CDF version, one for the extra UAZ skins and one specifically for a Schnell-livery fuel truck, separated because it is the only one that requires Operation Arrowhead to be installed.
Or at least, it is as long as I’ve coded the config properly…
All units follow conventional grouping, the majority being found under CIVILIAN > CHERNARUS > CARS or SUPPORT — the Schnell truck is found under CIVILIAN > TAKISTANI > SUPPORT and the CDF trucks are, naturally, found under BLUFOR > CDF > etc.
The trucks are known by the name KAMAZ however, not «Utility truck». Naturally this will look more suitable for ACE users, but otherwise shouldn’t interfere too much — hopefully.
The re-skins are applied using the hiddenSelection feature, meaning that they can be easily swapped around by mission editors — the readme file included should (hopefully) explain it better.
This version is Beta — a few issues — most of which are beyond my control, i.e. not being able to change the specular map or the chassis texture — remain, but ultimately I’ve only tested them on my computer and so do not know how they will perform on others’.
Also they are not yet signed.
Thoughts, suggestions, critiques very welcome; anyway, I hope you enjoy them!

Basically, when it comes to using the textures, the example code I wrote is incomplete:
setobjecttexture [0, «extra_kamaz/data/kamaz_kab__co.paa»]; setobjecttexture [1, «extra_kamaz/data/kamaz___co.paa»];
I meant to amend this to the following:
setobjecttexture [0, "extra_kamaz/data/kamaz_kab_<name>_co.paa"]; setobjecttexture [1, "extra_kamaz/data/kamaz_<component>_<name>_co.paa"];
Though as long as you put in extra_kamaz/data/ followed by one of the textures listed below then it should work!

The Kamaz (alternately called the Utility Truck) is a family of logistics trucks used exclusively by the Russian Armed Forces in ArmA 2.

Design
The Kamaz is a family of Russian-made 6×6 light utility trucks. It uses a conventional layout with a front-mounted engine and a all-metal forward control cab.
Features
There are a total of six more configurations of the Kamaz aside from the baseline troop transport variant. These include a fuel tanker, ammunition transport, field repair vehicle, and a salvager/supply carrier variant.
Mobility
Although slower than its American counterpart, the Kamaz has surprisingly decent off-road handling and can accelerate more quickly compared to the older Ural truck. Due to its higher centre of gravity, it does face a greater risk of a rollover when turning at high speeds.
Crew Capacity
Regardless of variant, the Kamaz always has a capacity of three seats for a crew that consists of a driver and two passengers who sit in the cab alongside the driver.
Variants
Baseline variant. Can transport up to eleven passengers on its rear flatbed.
The rear section is covered with a tarpaulin which can hide troops from view (note that the tarpaulin does not provide ballistic protection).
Identical to the baseline transport variant but lacks the tarpaulin cover. Transports the same number of passengers.
Carries spare parts, tools, and additional components that can repair nearby land vehicles and grounded aircraft. Has only two seats for the driver and a cab passenger.
Visually identical to the Repair variant, but the rear container stores ammunition and ordnance instead.
It can rearm nearby land vehicles and grounded aircraft. Contains the same amount of seats as the Repair variant.
Has a large fuel tanker attached to the rear flatbed section.
It can refuel nearby land vehicles and grounded aircraft. Contains the same amount of seats as the Repair variant.
Visually identical to the Ammunition variant.
It will automatically be dispatched from the closest forward base to a nearby town to increase its «supply» value.
Visually identical to the Repair variant but cannot actually repair ground vehicles or aircraft.
It will automatically be dispatched from the closest forward base to disassemble destroyed vehicle wrecks on the battlefield.
(*) These variants are completely non-functional in normal gameplay and only work in Capture The Island (CTI) scenarios created with the Warfare module.
Protection
All variants of the Kamaz have base armour values of 32.
Body
Kamaz hulls can survive 32 points of damage.
Engine
Their engines are only capable of withstanding 12.8 points of damage. Only 40% of damage on this component is shared with the vehicle’s main «health» pool.
A damaged engine will prevent the vehicle from being able to attain their top speeds.
Fuel tank
The fuel tanks (not the cistern on Fuel variants) can incur up to 44.8 points of damage before failing. At least 50% of damage on the tanks will be transferred onto the vehicle’s main «health» pool.
A damaged tank will cause the vehicle to gradually lose fuel over time.
Wheels
The tyres on all variants can only take 12.8 points of damage before bursting. Only 30% of damage is shared with the vehicle’s main «health» pool.

This seems to be a common problem and I’ve spent that last several hours trying to fix it and I just can’t find a solution.
Whenever I try to join a server, preferably one running CTI only I get this message
«dependent on downloadable content. CAwheeled2_BTR90″…etc
I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help me find a solution. I’m still fairly new to the game. I bought combined operations through Steam so the steamapps directory should contain both games. I am getting very very frustrated with this.

What is your shortcut parameter looking like?
Maybe you are simply starting OA with a shortcut ignoring ArmA II files!

I am using a shortcut so I could run as admin because the original shortcut steam provided could not and I hadn’t had this problem until suddenly yesterday…why idk. Could be the problem though, let me check.
edit~ just tried the original shortcut and didn’t work. Getting extremely frustrated and the part thats even more frustrating is this is a random problem.

Anyone help? I’ve spent all day trying to fix this and I can’t find any information at all, I’ve gone through advanced search option and just about any topic that contains CAwheeled2_BTR90. I bought this game early august why is this problem occurring now.

If its a random problem, and I have the same sometimes with other filenames , its because the severs you’re connecting to is using modified files you don’t have. It can also happen with clanlogos, faces, googles or other usermade addons on the server. As long as you can connects and the mission loads just forget about it…I have this for more than year now. This is a side effect of a easy modable multiplayer game.

haha by random problem I meant it just started to happen without me changing or modifying any of the files. I just started the game up one day and went to play my favorite mod CTI and I couldn’t join any servers…I was pissed. I’m assuming it has to do with the latest patch since steam shows it was updated on the 26th of august and I hadn’t played since a few days before it.

CAwheeled2_BTR90 is BTR-90 from Arma 2 / Chernarus. The server you were playing (Op arrowhead) now most likely uses content from Arma 2.
I bought combined operations through Steam so the steamapps directory should contain both games.

Well I’ve now re-downloaded Arma II and still the problem persists and it feels like there is no easy fix to this problem. I don’t want to urge or stress any of the moderators out and as far as I know this could be a simple problem and I’m just being retarted but from my research on these forums and google I can’t find any solution and its even more frustrating that this is the only way to reach a Dev or Mod to help me out in which I haven’t even recieved a response.
In short I shouldn’t have to come back to enjoy this game only to find that its suddenly «broken» for no logical reason other than a possible automatic patch update which still has nothing to do with me modifying or altering any of the game files and then spend hours re-downloading and reinstalling the game to find that nothing is working. Now I’ve done what I could in terms of research. I’m aware that this is a possible steam problem so I scattered through all 777 replies on the «All Steam Q’s/discussions go here [covered by Dwarden]» to find a solution about my error and if its a possible mod problem I would check that branch of the forums also but honestly I’m just frustrated at this point and have no incentive to put any more research into this problem, all I ask for is for someone to help me troubleshoot this problem and this is supposedly the right place to look, correct? Well I’ve had no help what so ever. I just simply want a Moderator or a veteran of the forums to point me in the right direction….is that too much to ask? :confused:

from what i have seen from others if your still having this problem. it could be that steam isn’t using arma2 and just using arma2 OA. you have to use the combined ops exe. which you can get to in steam through the game library and right clicking OA. some servers have both and steam only does the OA exe unless you tell it different. for me that is. /my problem is do i want to go in and find every mod i put in arma2 and delete it so i can play some of these server…because when i do the combined ops exe it loads all the mods with it. pain in the ass really

I’m having the same problem but I don’t use Steam to play the games. I have two separate installations from disc. I’ve tried adding «-mod=G:Bohemia InteractiveArmA 2AddOns» to the parameter line in addition to downloading _runA2CO_nonSteamOA.zip and placing it in the OA folder. I still receive the same message as the original poster.

We see a lot of players getting kicked from our combined ops server through this BTR90 problem, and I mean a lot. A few of our clan members were suffering from it and it certainly needs looking into.

Addendum — I’ve found the correct target line: «G:Bohemia InteractiveArmA 2 Operation Arrowheadarma2OA.exe» -nosplash -world=empty «-mod=G:Bohemia InteractiveArmA 2;G:Bohemia InteractiveArmA 2 Operation ArrowheadExpansion;ca»
One question. I’ve included the «CA» folder in the target line even though I cannot find a folder by the name of «CA». What is it and why does it need to be included?

Actually I have used Driver Cleaner to get rid of old Nvidia drivers but they weren’t the cause of the problem. The mistake I made was write «/addons» after each ‘mod’ folder name/directory path hah. It works fine now and I’ve played on a few servers already. Crashes permitting.

As Liquid says we’ve had a lot of people get kicked for this problem. It’s not just the btr-90 etc stuff either. People can be playing on a Takistan map with CO content and then if we switch to chernarus they suddenly seem to not have the Arma2 content. It’s all rather weird.
I suspect something in the patch process is corrupting random parts of the .pbo files, one of our guys can’t see Russian tanks any more either.

Did your friend try re-installing the game? If so ask him if does he have both ARMA 2 and OA and also ask him how does he install them, Like what does he install first?

Yeah we haven’t gone down the reinstall route yet but I suspect that’s the only way to fix this. I’m taking a couple of days off from my duties as clan tech support due to rl concerns so after that’s over I’ll let you know what happens

My brother duplicated the folders of the instalation of Arma II operation arrowhead!!!!
I had D:ArmaII for Normal ArmaII game.
Then my brother installed the Operation Arrowhead in D:ArmaIIBohemia InteractiveOperation Arrowhead ….
So the game dind’t worked. Take a look at the folders of your game both must be excatly the same.
If your folders don’t fit you can copy paste the folders and replace the files, it works.

OK finally i found out hoe to sort problem and how simple once you know how…
I hope it works for you.
Ignore steam and startmenu or desktop Arma/OA starty clicky icon thingies.
goto to the following;
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonarma 2
yours may be slightly different depending on windows version etc but once you find this folder inside is a file called… drum roll please…
called ‘arma2OA.exe’
try double clicking you will find all works fine.
So create a shortcut to this file.
I so hope this works for you all.
